GNOTURI is the most efficient and enjoyable method to learn a language. Invented 20 years ago, tested in NYC public schools, and developed for 15 years, Nunzio Sisto’s GNOTURI is a TEXT-BASED GRAPHIC NOVEL approach to learning languages.
By including illustrations and requiring the learner to illustrate, students gain a deeper understanding of the phrases as opposed to just translating black and white pages of text.
GNOTURI App includes many of the time-honored and standardized methods for learning vocabulary, such as matching games, listening games, and fill in the blank. Where GNOTURI differs is, instead of random words and examples, we start translating real texts Day One.
Why waste time learning to say something that you will never read, write or say? Shouldn't we start with what you need, then worry about the abstract? It is this inefficiency in language learning that often discourages students to continue.
With GNOTURI’s TEXT-BASED GRAPHIC NOVEL method, the student has a continuous plot to follow, accompanied by dazzling and demonstrative images. We teach grammar based on what is written in the text, allowing you to learn what you need as you go.
Francis Glass was an American Patriot and Latin professor. He wrote Washingtonii Vita, or The Life of Washington, in the mid 1800s so that every American student may learn Latin and know the story of George Washington.
To honor Francis Glass - GNOTURI created our first course in Latin to teach the Washingtonii Vita, and offers it for free to every American student.
GNOTURI will continue to publish works of Classical Latin for Latin/English and Latin/Spanish, as well as Spanish/English. We plan to expand our catalogue into other languages.
