My dear sister and her family's foster care journey is coming to such a beautiful close, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Riley officially becoming part of our forever family

I’ve had the privilege of watching this journey up close—the highs, the lows, the deep love, and the unwavering commitment. There is truly so much to celebrate… every unexpected call, every brave “yes,” every hello and every goodbye that got them here. 8 years and 11 placements. 11 precious kiddos surrounded by love and a place to call home.

So many have loved, supported, prayed, listened, and walked alongside Sarah and Les through all of this—truly, your encouragement has meant everything.

And honestly, I didn’t even know where to begin when it came to finding a way to bless and celebrate this amazing family. This celebration feels big and meaningful… capturing so many moments over the last 8 years.

…And then I started to have an idea.

Because naturally, as her sister, I went ahead and appointed myself head of celebration planning

Sarah and Les are hoping to take a special family trip to mark this new chapter together, and I think it would be so special to help them get there.
