Help for Maggie

Donation protected
My daughter Maggie is very ill. She has been sick for about 6 years with a condition called CRPS. Its a progressive condition that affects the nervous system. Maggie is 30 years old and has 3 beautiful young children. She struggles everyday with excruciating pain throughout her body. She has trouble walking and uses a cane or walker depending on the day. She has trouble eating because this terrible condition causes her pain when she eats as well as swallowing difficulty. She has headaches, it affects her eyes and her arms. Maggie was always a very healthy weight but now is about 100 lbs. It is heart breaking to see her like this. All she wants is to have her life back. She wants to be able to run and play with her kids, go to hockey games, do activities, go to school functions with her kids. The simple things like getting in her car and taking the kids for an ice cream is something she can no longer do. She is now living with me because she needs constant support. It was a very difficult decision for her to move back home at 30 years old but she needed the help.
Back in March I posted for the first time about Maggie's condition. She is very private and feels embarrassed by her condition. At that time she needed prayers because she was having surgery. The surgery was to implant a device that interrupts pain signals. This was supposed to be the miracle she was looking for. It has not been that miracle, she got about 20% relief overall.
Maggie is always researching and trying to find something that will help her get her life back. She is a fighter!! She recently found a treatment in the USA that is working for people with CRPS. She is in contact with a family from Nova Scotia who's daughter has CRPS. She went to the USA for treatment and is now doing great. This girl is 16 and had CRPS for 6 years. Her symptoms were very similar to Maggie's. This treat is not conventional medicine so it is not covered by our provincial health care. The treatment is very expensive at $400 dollars a day. The treatment is approximately 4-5 months. We are expecting that with travel and accommodations it will cost about $100,000. Our immediate family is helping with some of the costs as well as support with the children while she is away. I posted to my friend group on Facebook and the response was amazing, we have so many generous friends and family. We realized that to raise the amout needed for this treatment she would need to reach more people.
Maggie is not good at asking for help but she really needs this help to get the treatment that will help her get her life back. Please share this message with everyone you know.
I want to thank you in advance for your prayers and support. ❤️
