My name is ‘Grammie’ aka Barb Prouty. I am making this GoFundMe to try and help my son Tyler Prouty and daughter-in-law Miranda Prouty with unforeseen circumstances.

Miranda is currently 35 weeks pregnant after being told by more than 9 doctors there is no way she can carry a baby to term or if she did there would be health concerns, etc. They were also told they would have to go through IVF, which is not what they wanted to do. They left it in the Lord's hands and by the grace of God, after almost 4 years, she is pregnant with their first baby boy who has been healthy with no concerns until now with the entire pregnancy.

Miranda is currently having complications with the pregnancy. Miranda was admitted to Wellsboro, PA in labor and delivery for very intense, strong contractions that were only 3 1/2 minutes apart, but once she progressed, her contractions became 2 minutes apart. She was given 3 injections to stop the contractions, which didn’t help. Wellsboro transferred Miranda to Erie, PA where there is a NICU in case she went into active labor. She is currently in early labor and excruciating pain every day. Erie gave Miranda a steroid to develop baby Jace’s lungs 100% in case she goes into active labor. She has high blood pressure and is high risk. Erie sent Miranda and Tyler ‘home’. They got a hotel room for the night. Miranda woke up in excruciating pain during the night. She can’t walk without hunching over holding her belly because it hurts so bad. She is also as pale as a ghost when these pains happen. Miranda has been in tears; I have never seen her in so much pain crying in the 7 years I have known her.

Tyler took Miranda back to labor and delivery in Erie for the excruciating pain she is experiencing, and the doctor told her to stay close to the hospital until baby Jace arrives due to her being high risk and not knowing when he will be arriving for sure due to Tyler and Miranda being 3 hours away one way. The doctor advised to stay close and transfer all appointments to his office who will be delivering when the time is here. There is more going on that we do not wish to disclose at this time.

We all have been praying because we know it’s in the Lord's time, not ours. They don’t ask for a lot and would appreciate anything donated as the funds donated will help pay for the extended stay at the hotel, food, and any other necessities they need for the extended stay.
