Hi, I'm Oliver, I was diagnosed with cancer in December 2024. It started in my lower colon and has spread to my liver. I have had sole custody of my daughter since she was 15 months, she is now 10 years. Due to this illness, chemotherapy and recently radiation treatment, I have not been able to work this year. Hopefully later this year or early next year, I will have surgery to try and remove the tumours. As a single parent it has been very difficult financially. My boss has been so kind and has paid me my basic salary each month, but as a sales person I cannot earn any commissions if I can't work and this is what I rely upon. Because of this, my daughter has missed out on so much this year. It's a struggle just to pay for normal things, especially with all of my hospital appointments. Luxuries like days out and meals out, I cannot afford. It would be great if I could raise enough money to take her on a weekend away or just a shopping trip would be fabulous, to buy her some new clothes and things to play with. Plus, Christmas will be here before we know it. She has been very understanding when I say Daddy cannot afford to do things or buy things at the moment. She knows I am not well, but I haven't told her the C word and I hope I don't have to. Any help anyone can give us, would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
