Help Tony Recover and Prove His Case

Hi Everyone,
We are reaching out to you today to rally behind our family member, Tony Davis who is healing from a life-altering motorcycle accident. While cruising down the PNW peninsula’s highway 101 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Tony was struck by a motorhome pulling a trailer in the opposite lane on a blind curve. He was airlifted to Harborview in critical condition and has undergone multiple surgeries for shattered bones. He needs physical therapy and psychological support right now. Despite the odds, Tony remains determined to regain his strength and independence. He is healing so he can return to the things he loves, but funds are dry. We need your help.
Unable to make a statement on his own behalf, the helicopter took him away. In an article that was published the next day by the Peninsula News, they allege that Tony veered into their lane. There were no other witnesses to the collision. They stated that he was cited for reckless driving based only on claims made by the individuals driving the motorhome.
Which is strange! It was a right curve, picture it. Tony had the inside lane; the motorhome with a trailer had the outside lane. The idea that an experienced motorcyclist like Tony would blindly ride into the outer oncoming lane is tantamount to suicide. It doesn’t sound like Tony at all. The occupants of the motorhome originally claimed they and their pets were not injured, but now they are claiming otherwise.
To make matters worse, Tony’s motorcycle insurance failed to accept a routine payment during the last pay cycle, so they’re not covering him.
With the airlift’s charge of $70,000, the multiple extensive surgeries and other health-related costs, and impending legal fees, the bills are mounting and he’s not able to work. Taking care of him interrupts our ability to work. And the emotional ordeal of a beloved family member having his mobility suddenly taken from him has been challenging to say the least. We’re dealing with a full-blown crisis. These issues are further complicated with his diabetes and hyperglycemia.
Tony is typically an early riser. He’s physically active and busy on jobsites every day. He drinks a ton of water and keeps a snickers bar in the glove compartment to balance his sugar. Now, he’s in the basement on a hospital bed we’ve procured for him. He can’t move. He’s watching movies and we’re taking turns tending to his needs. Even going to the bathroom is a huge struggle. For a man as active as he was, this is psychologically difficult as well. He is well-known and loved by many members of our community, known for his honesty, integrity, and his dedication to his craft. Tony is a selfless individual who has always lent a helping hand to those in need.
That said, we’re working on each difficulty as we’re able to. Your donations will help alleviate the overwhelming financial burden this unfortunate event has placed on him. The funds will assist with medical bills, rehabilitation costs, psychological counseling, necessary medical equipment, and any other expenses associated with Tony's recovery.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in helping Tony rebuild. Kindly share this GoFundMe campaign on your social media platforms, among friends, and coworkers to broaden the reach of our cause. We want this to go viral. Know that you’ve got a loyal friend in Tony and his family.
Together, let's ensure that justice is served, and Tony can focus on healing. Every dollar and every act of kindness will bring him one step closer to a brighter future.
Tony, we’re with you. We ride with you. And we will never let you face this battle alone.
