Bella and Blaire's Emergency Fund

Bella and Blaire Iteka are very special people.    As "new Mainers" to Portland, Maine,  although they have been here for many years now, they have assimilated to Portland by raising their three daughters here, attending college and working in our community.  Bella has been a Teacher/Floater at Catherine Morrill Day Nursery for several years while getting her degree in Early Childhood Education at Southern Maine Community College.  She is always a "ray of sunshine" and is truly adored by the children, our families and her co-workers.  Blaire graduated from the University of Southern Maine's ETEP program.  Blaire has suddenly become quite ill.  He is in the hospital and we are unsure when he'll be able to go home.  Right now, Blaire is at Maine Medical Center, and the doctors are working to see how they can move him to Boston.  Bella is trying to  bring Blaire's niece, Claude Nzigamiye, to Portland from Burundi to help the family deal with this family emergency.  We are working together to help this happen for this wonderful family.
