Recently becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, JaNaiah is a 4.0 distinguished honor roll student and a member of the national honors society. JaNaiah has been athletic all of her life, running track for 8 years and therefore after falling in love with basketball. This has lead her to a wonderful opportunity to play basketball her last year of high school in California.  Going to California will allow her to play on a higher scale and a bigger platform that will open doors for a possible opportunity of getting a Division 1 college scholarship. Coming from a single parent home, it’s very costly and difficult to finance an entire senior year of high school in California. She comes from a city plagued with murder and crime and I don’t want her to become another statistic. This amazing opportunity will give her a chance to get out of Delaware to pursue her hopes and dreams. Not many inner city kids get opportunities like this one! Thank you all in advance and God bless!
