Wir sind Maja und Stephan mit Kater Fritzi und den Enten Berta & Ernest. Wir leben gemeinsam auf dem Land in Brandenburg und haben von dem traurigen Schicksal „ausrangierter“ Ziegen, Schafe und Esel erfahren, die bald dem Schlachter zum Opfer fallen sollen. Wir möchten ihnen ein friedvolles Zuhause geben, in dem sie ihren Lebensabend sorgenfrei und geliebt in einer artgerechten Umgebung genießen können und haben uns was einfallen lassen. Zur Umsetzung benötigen wir jedoch etwas Starthilfe und hoffen auf Euch!

Von unserer lieben Nachbarin Christine haben wir bereits eine 2000 qm grosse Weidefläche bekommen. Was wir noch bräuchten ist eine stabile Umzäunung und ein Stall, damit die süßen „Tierrentner“ schnell bei uns einziehen können. Leider sprengen die Materialkosten von 4.500 € für den 200 m langen Elektrozaun plus 80 Pfähle und einen großen Stall unser Budget, so dass wir Eure Unterstützung brauchen, um das stemmen zu können. Den Aufbau des Stalls und das Errichten des Zaunes werden wir mit Freunden in Eigenleistung bewerkstelligen.

Jeder Beitrag, egal wie klein er sein mag, würde uns sehr dabei helfen, dass diese lieben Geschöpfe wenigstens in den letzten Jahren ihres Lebens erfahren dürfen, wie es ist, wenn ihnen die Sonne ins Gesicht scheint, sie gestreichelt werden und die Wiese unter den Hufen kitzelt.

Wir haben hierfür ein gemeinsames Bankkonto eingerichtet und werden Euch mit Fotos von unseren zukünftigen tierischen Familienmitgliedern und den Baufortschritt auf dem Laufenden halten.

Sanctuary Meadow instead of slaughterhouse. Help us save Bonny & Clyde, Max & Moritz, and Bibi & Tina!

We are Maja and Stephan together with our cat Fritzi and the ducks Berta & Ernest. Togerher, we live in the countryside in Brandenburg and have learned about the sad fate of retired goats, sheep and donkeys who are soon to fall victim to the slaughterhouse. We want to give them a peaceful home where they can enjoy their golden years free from worries and loved - in a species-appropriate environment, and we have come up with a plan. However, we need some initial support to make it happen and hope for your help! Our dear neighbor Christine has already provided us with a 2,000 sqm pasture. What is still needed is a sturdy fence and a barn so that these sweet “senior animals” can move in with us, quickly.

Unfortunately, the material costs of € 4.500 for a 200-meter electric fence, plus 80 posts and a large barn, exceed our budget. So we need your support to make it possible. We will build the barn and set up the fence ourselves with the help of dear friends.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will greatly help us to ensure that these lovely creatures experience what it’s like when the sun shines on their faces, they are petted, and the meadow tickles their hooves during the last years of their lives.
