On Tuesday, April 13th Ashley was rushed to the hospital following a medical condition. Ashley had been texting Derek all day while at work and on her lunch she experienced a seizure. Her texts to Derek started making no sense so he had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. By the time he made it to her, she was unconscious and not breathing so he rushed her to Cox Monett. They immediately got her hooked up and had an MRI. The MRI showed contrast that could be the cause of an infection, tumor, or cancer. She has been transferred up to Cox South and on the 8th floor being watched closely by all the amazing nurses and doctors.
Most recent information: Ashley has a lesion on the left rear part of her brain. Tomorrow afternoon they will be making a small incision and doing a biopsy. She does have a risk of a brain bleed. In case of a mass or bleed, they will have to remove part of her skull and extract the mass. Worst case scenario is cancer but the neurologist isn't leaning towards it. 
Ashley could be released as soon as tomorrow or could be there for a few weeks. She is in room 848 and only allowed one visitor a day. 
I have set this page up with permission from Derek to try and help relieve some medical expenses as this was very unexpected. She is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a best friend and we are all continuously praying for answers. Anything will help and if you are unable to donate, please keep praying for Ashley (and that she doesn't burn the hospital bed down to the ground) and her family as they go through this difficult time.
