Hi everyone,
I am so sorry to do this, but Mary and I are in dire straits…we are facing eviction from our home, mainly due to the fact that Mary lost her job of 25 years with the same company and hasn’t been able to get hired in a new position yet. She is filing applications daily, but has only had one interview as of yet.
Her job was the primary source of our household income, as well as our health insurance. I am on Social Security Disability (as most of you know), but my check is minimal, especially after paying for Part B. I don’t have prescription coverage, and am on multiple medications each month.
We have exhausted all of our savings, including her 401k and are regretfully behind in all of our other bills due to the aforementioned hurdles.
We also have two cats and it would destroy us both emotionally and spiritually to lose them…neither of us ever had children, and many of you understand that our fur babies are family.
I understand that there may be “fallout” from this posting, but desperation has come home to roost.
Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated…
