Help Tim Beat Cancer

My goal is to raise funds for someone who has given so much time and energy to his community and the residents of Central Florida. Throughout his 25 year career as a K-9 handler with the State of Florida and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Tim has assisted in capturing countless criminals and locating missing persons across seven counties. He currently works for Volusia County Schools as a School Guardian in Pierson, FL.

After everything that he’s faced, Tim is about to endure one of the toughest tests of his life. He was recently diagnosed with stage 2A Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare but aggressive cancer of the bile duct. He is scheduled to start chemotherapy on Wednesday, 1/11, and is currently waiting to be added to the liver transplant list. Since he will be receiving aggressive treatment, Tim will be out of work for a while.

Any contributions to help Tim and his family through this trying time would be greatly appreciated. These funds will go directly towards everyday living expenses and medical bills. ****Update**** most recent update medically is that Tim has a very long road ahead of him and the family as well. He was able to return to work for a few short months once his initial treatment was done but he has much more to do. If you know Tim, you know he is a fighter. You also know that he would never ask anyone to donate to him and that’s the reason I am asking for him. I have raised the goal and I hope to be able to achieve it.
