Hello, my name is Bobbi Jo Canterbury, my sister is Carrie Crawford (Grayson's mom) and my nephew is Grayson Crawford. He turned 14 and a couple months later was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma. Their world was turned upside down in a blink of an eye. What was supposed to he a fun filled end of his middle school year with the Washington DC trip and 8th grade graduation turned into being admitted to Children's Hospital 5/2 -5/22 and being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing surgery to remove it. Afterwards he would undergo several rounds of chemotherapy and multiple trips and admissions to Children's Hospital. Until finally the day that everyone had prayed so much for had arrived. The all clear. No more cancer. Ringing the bell at last. I'd say it ended there, but that's not the truth. All the hospital bills are coming in and to be honest Grayson is not done with everything just yet. He still has to do monthly visits and will continue to be monitored for the next 4 years. Which is a blessing and additional stress because that's more bills. Carrie and Matt have helped anyone with anything over the years without being asked. Now it's our turn to help them. Anything would be greatly appreciated and a true blessing to help ease their financial burden from all of this.
