Hello, my name is Tabytha. I am doing this on behalf of my mother Tammy Faralla.

It has come to our attention that my mum has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease also known as MND.

For those who don’t know about the disease it is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects the nerve cells controlling voluntary muscle movement. These nerve cells, called motor neurons, send signals from the brain and spinal cord to the muscles, enabling actions like walking, breathing, and speaking. In MND, these motor neurons gradually degenerate and die, leading to muscle weakness, atrophy, and ultimately, paralysis.

At the moment we know there is no cure for MND. However, there are available treatments to try and reduce the impact it has on a persons daily life.

Since the diagnosis she has maintained a positive outlook, with the support of her Family and Friends. However, Funds are required to aid her battle.

We have decided to set up this GoFundMe page for people to donate to help her with possible treatments abroad to sustain quality of life, eventual aids that will be needed for our home and transport etc.

What it will mean for us to get this support from everyone, is to give my mum all the help, support and comfort she needs to get her through this!
