Support Heather's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hi there! My name is Sara. My best friend of twenty years, Heather, was diagnosed at the beginning of March with Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer. She will be having a double mastectomy in April. Heather will have to be off work for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of another surgery in the fall.

Heather has always been one of the hardest working people I have ever known, and this unexpected diagnosis has already slowed her down. She has had to lighten her workload to make it to multiple doctor's appointments a week. This has put a financial strain on her and her family. The upcoming months are going to be even more difficult.

Her entire family and her little farm depend on her, and I would like to help her through one of the most difficult times they have ever faced as a family. She has never turned away from helping others (including me), and I want to pay it forward. The money raised will help get her back and forth to her appointments and help cover income losses.
