Ramadan Mubarak

My name is Fiafi Abdul Al-Shara, and I am launching this GoFundMe to support orphans and struggling families in Iraq during this blessed month of Ramadan.

Millions of children around the world face unimaginable hardship due to poverty, war, drought, and disease. Many are left without parents and without the basic necessities every child deserves. This Ramadan, my goal is to ease their burden, bring comfort to their hearts, and put smiles on their faces — inshallah.

Last year, with the help of generous supporters like you, we raised a little over $2,000. Every dollar went directly toward helping orphans and families in need. I personally ensured the funds were used to prepare and distribute essential food baskets and necessities. Inshallah, I hope we can reach — and even surpass — that goal again this year.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to orphans and poor families in Iraq. The funds will be used to provide food baskets including rice, flour, meat, water, juice, and other essential groceries, as well as clothing and shoes for children and families in need. Although I live in the United States and am not related to the families we are helping, I personally oversee the distribution to ensure your donations are used responsibly. As always, I will provide receipts and photos of purchases and distributions for full transparency, inshallah.

Ramadan is a time of mercy, generosity, and compassion. Allah not only rewards us for the practical support we give to orphans, but also for the happiness and hope we bring into their lives. Simply knowing that someone cares about them and their future is a priceless gift.
