Hello all, my grandmother Guillermina Escobar has passed away on June 20th from a Stroke.
On June 3rd my grandmother was fine until she started having a headache. We took her too the ER where we waited a long 3 hours until we finally had someone see her and they determined she was having a stroke due to a blood clot. They flew her to the Kennestone hospital where they performed surgery on her which was unsuccessful and eventually found out her left side of the brain was completely dead. Our grandmother fought hard but sadly she never woke up to say her last words to all of us. It all went to fast and wish this didn’t happen the way it did. It was a painful and tearful 3 weeks where she passed on June 20th. Our family has never had a major death happen and it was very unexpected. My grandmother was originally from Mexico, so we are going to fly her back to Mexico where her wish was to be buried with her mother and father and late son of 3 years old. We are not asking for much but just anything that helps so we can lay our grandma to rest in her home country and cover her funeral costs.
