In Loving Memory of Milo (02/02/20 – 10/09/25)
I’m sharing this on behalf of some dear friends who recently went through something no pet-loving family should ever have to endure.
Milo was their beloved 5-year-old pup — a sweet, gentle soul who came into their lives during the pandemic and became the heart of their home. He loved belly rubs, car rides, cuddles, and his family more than anything.
A few weeks ago, Milo suddenly became sick. After multiple visits to the vet and finally being admitted to Angell Memorial, he was misdiagnosed, underwent two surgeries, and was placed on a ventilator. His family spent over $50,000 trying to save him — draining their savings and retirement accounts.
They were told he was improving, only to get the devastating call that he had passed — with no warning, no goodbye, and no compassion.
Milo deserved better. His family is heartbroken, financially overwhelmed, and searching for answers. I’m hoping we can rally around them — whether through donations or simply sharing Milo’s story — to help ease even a small part of this unimaginable burden.
Thank you for reading, caring, and supporting.
