David Scott

  This is entirely for the aid of David's funeral.

David was born in Odessa, Missouri 1957. His family grew tremendously throughout his life. He went to Odessa high school and graduated in 1976. David married Kathy in May of 1984. He raised 3 children and 2 grandchildren with her in their time together. He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

  He worked for dunpar construction in kansas city, building high rises. He served in the air force and worked there as a painter. After marriage, they moved to Texas and he became a fire brigadier for Dupont in 1988. He later moved into a operator position and served for 26 years. Kathy passed shortly before his retirement. Then he was the remaining survivor of his shift, after the plant explosion in 2014.

  David retired with full benefits and moved back home to Odessa, Missouri in 2015. He later met his fiancee Brenda Crawford after returning the same year. She was a lifelong friend. David and brenda shared their lives together for several years before his passing on December 29th 2022.

 He planned everything to the tee for his own funeral. He had everything done, until Dupont had taken his benefits just last year. After the event in 2014, Dupont became bankrupt. The facility was disassembled and sold in Texas.

 David will be dearly missed. He was an amazing man who had a big heart and cared for everyone. He never showed any fear and always carried faith wherever he was. His story will never fade with all the memories we hold and share together.
