Hey, I’m Daisy. On November 8th late in the evening my sisters lights went out in most parts of her apt which was weird but it happens so she went to sleep and figured she’d have tomorrow to figure out what was going on. That cliche saying of “tomorrow isn’t promised” became a dark reality on November 9th at around 3 AM. Daniela (my sister) woke up smelling something kinda burning, her motherly instincts kicked in as she woke up my niece (age 13 in a few days) and 3 nephews (ages almost 9, 6, and 2 months) and ran out of the apt while she waited for the fire dept to come tell her everything was okay. Turns out there was an electrical issue and her apt caught fire inside the walls and what she was smelling was the start of this nightmare. She was stuck across the street with no other option than to just watch as everything she’s worked so hard for went up in stubborn flames and destroyed it all. Friends and family have all come together to do everything we can but she needs more help than we can provide so we’re turning to you guys and asking for help. Anything and everything that you can think of, monetary and material, is needed and will be greatly appreciated.
