Help Amanda Battle Breast Cancer
Donation protected
On February 10, 2022, our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend, Amanda Galinsky, went for her first mammogram. Six days later, at 40 years old, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Amanda has undergone 16 chemo treatments, with surgery, radiation and one year of immunotherapy ahead of her. She has fought several infections, three trips to the ER, neutropenia and a blood clot. Her husband, Justin, is her rock. Between their out-of-pocket maximum and deductible, they are responsible for $14,000.00. Then as treatment continues into 2023 with an additional $14,000.00.
Amanda is an independent contractor and receives no short-term or long-term benefits. She had to take a leave of absence because of neuropathy in her hands which affects her using her computer. Justin is lucky to work for a fantastic company, but at this point, any time he takes off is unpaid. Amanda has shown so much determination and strength in fighting this. She has already begun acquiring expensive medical bills and graciously is asking for help to give her peace of mind and relieve some stress while fighting this. If you can’t help, we understand, but could you please share this? Thank you all.
