Voluntary Action Center of DeKalb

Voluntary Action Center of DeKalb County provides over 120,000 Meals on Wheels within its four county service area and over 225,000 rides to vital services such as dialysis, cancer treatments, veternan facilities, employment and more.  

The State of Illinois budget stalemate has stopped all state funding for these services causing service reductions, delays and by the end of the year, the possiblity of elimination of these vital programs.

We turn to our neighbors to help us keep our programs moving.  We serve amongts the most vulnerable of our  those in need.  We can no longer rely on elected officials to ensure services continue.
