Hi everyone! Meet Sonny, one of the three beautiful dogs my dear friend Nikki adopted. Sonny has lymphoma and has become resistant to the treatment that has already cost Nikki thousands of dollars. Sonny’s young and if you looked at her, you would have no idea.
Nikki is moving forward with a new treatment that I can only imagine will be crazy expensive. The first round cost her upwards of $7,000.
If I was Nikki, I would be doing the same damn thing. Our pets are like family and she is heartbroken. Most people don’t even know she’s going through this. In typical Nikki fashion she takes it all on herself but not if we can stop it!
Nikki is hardworking, hilarious, caring and was there for me while my dad was paralyzed and every day after. I know she wouldn’t want me doing this but I hope we can raise some money because of that. Sometimes we should rally around good people because we can. She has worked her ass off her entire life and hasn’t been handed a thing. If we get to $10,000… I’ll shut it down but it would be so incredibly helpful.
