Rise Up, Sri Lanka

I’m Walter and I’m raising money for Rise Up, Sri Lanka. I went to Sri Lanka to help this amazing charity with a school food programme. Due to economic crisis in the country, many school children have very little food and suffer from malnutrition which greatly impacts their education.

“Rise Up” is an integrated model designed to showcase and address the current food crisis in Sri Lanka. The goal is to create a sustainable and secure food systems in schools, so children can be fed during the day. I am hoping to go to Sri Lanka again next year and I would like to use the money raised to help the schools I visit.

At the end of October, myself and my whole class will run a mini-marathon to raise money. Please help us raise money for this great cause!
