In September, I got into an accident with 4 uninsured teens who failed to stop at a red light. Following a lengthy police investigation (one detective per boy who fled the scene), it became clear that I would have to foot the repairs on my car. Insurance undervalued my car at $3491.75, deducting almost $700 for keeping the car rather than selling. The repair bill, however, totaled $5466, leaving a balance of $2674.25.

In Oct, I had everything worked out with a trusted local mechanic when my dad suffered a stroke and passed away on the 25th. With luck, I could make up the money difference--a matter not easy but doable with my voice acting income. That is, until YouTube demonetized my means of earning on Dec 9th. 

Put simply, friends, I must have an auto to drive. I do not have the means or time while settling my dad's estate to search for another car, & now that my income is at a literal crawl I am unable to pay the remaining balance on the auto repairs. Insurance won't budge and provide any more, but the mechanic has graciously given me a few weeks to obtain funds.
