Glynn John(Glizzy) memorial fund.
Donation protected
I am here because of the unfortunate snd sudden passing of my brother in law Glynn John. He was a beloved Father,Son,Brother, and friend. He will truly be missed. He leaves behind 3 kids( 18,15,11). Glynn loved spending time with his children and when he wasn't doing that he loved being with family in general. Family was the biggest thing to him. He couldn't stress how important family is and how we all need each other. As a child and young teen Glynn developed a love for all kinds of things. He loved baseball and j mean loved baseball. That was his first love in my opinion. He loved that game more then life its self. He was free out there on the field. Baseball was the thing that helped him build friendships as a kid. He was known all over the city. He was in the papers and everything. He loved to skate. He loved graffiti. He loved breakdancing. There was even a point in time in his early adult years that he was trying to pursue a professional boxing career but life had other plans in store for him. He was a warrior's warriors. Glynn was also about giving back and trying to instill the belief that everyone has a higher purpose or a calling in life. As a youth he spent some time in the dys/dcf system and had the opportunity of attending Penikese island school and he would tell anyone that he could that that place held a special place in his life and when he had the opportunity to go back and instill in the youth what he had learned and experienced in life he was more then happy to do it because he felt he was making a difference.
We want to give Glynn the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Glynn's funeral. We need to raise $10,000 in order to be able to afford the funeral service
