Glynn Evans: Cherished by Family & Friends

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Glynn Evans — a devoted husband, loving father, amazing son, and kind-hearted soul whose presence lit up every room he entered. Glynn was the rock of his family and a source of love, humor, and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Madeline Evans, their two beautiful children, Briella and Colston, loving parents Cheryl and Glynn, and trusting brother Dorian. Glynn was a hands-on, heart-first father who cherished every moment with his kids — from putting in overtime to help support his kids and making sure his little ones were always loved. His love for his family was evident in everything he did.

To those who knew him, Glynn was more than a friend — he was a calm in the storm, a steady hand, and a kind heart. He gave generously, listened deeply, and always showed up for others.

As many of you may know, Glynn’s passion for sprint car racing was a driving force in his life. As a crew chief with Sean Rayhall Motorsports, he brought not only skill and experience to the track, but also integrity, leadership, and a deep love for the sport. He was respected by his peers and admired for the way he gave his all, whether in the pits or with his team. The impact he has truly made to this community will never be forgotten.

Off the track, Glynn was all heart — especially when it came to football and food. A proud fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. And if there was a grill nearby, Glynn was in his element. He could throw down like no other, cooking, grilling or smoking up meals that brought people together and turned moments into memories.His loss is felt deeply, but his spirit lives on through the love he poured into the world.
