On Thursday, October 30th, Tianna Hayes was diagnosed with cancer. This news came just 48-hours before her wedding to fiancé, Chris Carter. With grace and strength, Tianna and Chris exchanged their vows on November 1st, and committed to each other a lifetime of love. 

Tianna is 30-years old, and recently had a nagging pain in her left leg. The Dr.'s have found a tumor in her thigh, tightly wrapped around an artery. After many ultrasounds, MRIs, CT Scans, and biopsies, Dr's have confirmed that the cancer has spread to her lungs. Tianna is young, in good health, and posses a firm resolve. Dr.'s have shared their optimism, but test results will come next week, and a treatment path will be initiated. 

Tianna, now Mrs. Carter, is as tough as nails. We are all confident that she will fight this next chapter of her life with vigor and determination. This news is frightening, and she will need our unconditional love and support. 

No one could have imagined how the events over the past week have unfolded. Tianna is a hair stylist with a dream of owner her own salon, and Chris is a 3rd Year Apprentice with the Local 490, IBEW. Most newlyweds anticipate their honeymoon, but Chris and Tianna will have a more serious road to travel first. Please help illuminate their days with your support.
