Eight months ago when we launched Glowbar , we had a very different vision for Spring. We had the dream to open our second studio, promote our original team members to lead positions, and continue to grow. As you know, things look vastly different today.
On March 16th, we voluntarily closed our first studio with heavy hearts but with the solace that it was the right decision for our team, our community and our future. Today, we made the second hardest decision while operating Glowbar, and that is to let go our studio team: the team that has made Glowbar what it is today, for each of you.
This is where we ask you all to come together to help ensure the future of Glowbar and the amazing team you’ve come to know and love. We have 20 employees whose lives have been drastically affected by these decisions and we believe it is our duty as a company and community to support them with three initiatives. We hope that with all of you on our side, we will be back stronger than ever, surpassing our initial vision, and facing your skin.
1. This campaign - we appreciate any/all amounts of donations to our studio team
2. E-gift card sales - gifts for people you care about, or for your future use
3. Product shipping - re-stock on your products as you need
We will service gift card purchases and product orders via email at [email redacted].
A portion of proceeds from sales will be directly contributed to our team. This we promise you.
