On Sep 28 2019 at about 0245 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I was on my way to work when a truck cut me off while I was making a turn, and then accelerated - blowing black smoke at me. I attempted to make an emergency stop, but between being cut off in a turn and unable to see due to the exhaust smoke, I was not able to prevent hitting a wall on my left side. I rode the concrete wall for a while until I hit a guard rail and bounced off, at which point I was thrown from the motorcycle. Thankfully I was wearing a helmet and only received some minor road rash, but I did break both my left tibia and fibula, resulting in needing a rod placed in my tibia with 4 pins holding it in place.
Because of this unfortunate accident I am not able to work for the next 3 months. We are currently doing all we can to work with my bank and creditors to insure that we will be able to make all our payments in addition to being able to provide for my family all the things we need.
Unfortunately, we still need more help. This is why I have started a GoFundMe. I am currently hoping to raise about $4000 to help cover our necessary monthly expenses till we "get back on our feet" - basic needs like:
Our home = $1921/month
Utilities: phone, electric, gas, & water ~$463/month
Transportation: insurances, gas, vehicle loans, maintenance ~$670/month
Food & Medical Expenses

Andrew has been the sole provider for our family, having sacrificed almost 13 years in the Army, and now more than a year and a half so far to being a Road Truck Driver. Often he's been away from home due to those jobs, and we are so thankful for everything that he's done for us. He has only 1 more small paycheck coming in from his job. I am currently on the job hunt, but I also need to remain available in order to help Andrew at home and with our kids.
