As many of you know , my nan (Yvonne Harvey) was not well for quite some time in 2025 and spent a lot of the year in intensive care in Gloucester royal hospital.

i would like to raise money to ensure that the care given is of the best it can be for any deserving person in need

i know my Nan was very happy that she had a “window seat” and full control of the ward remote

The nurses looked after her from March 2025 and got to know her over the months before she deteriorated and sadly passed away in October 2025, I had the luxury of being able to see Eve (Nan) in hospital before she passed a few times and I saw that the nurses that cared for her did so with upmost dignity and only had her best interest at heart.

i have decided after having people asking if am fundraising to set this page up ,

I will be running the Gloucester half marathon in 2026 , I have not ran more than 5km in over a year and this will be a huge challenge for me to complete this journey in 9 weeks

anything raised will make me and my family happy and I will be finishing this half marathon in memory of my nan
