GLOSSOP ORPHANED DUCKLINGS
Hello. This mother duck was killed on the road running next to Howard Park leaving 11 orphaned ducklings. Our local bird saviour, Tanayha, hand reared the ducklings across 3 months through winter until they were old enough to be returned to the parks - half each across Manor Park and Howard Park - where they are thriving.
A local joiner is in the process of building huts for each park so there is somewhere safe for chicks whilst they grow stronger
Tanayha’s previous GFM raised £521 but this was recently refunded back to the generous people of Glossop as there was a 6 month’s time limit to withdraw the monies which she was unaware of. Naturally Tan is devastated and we hope we can recoup the monies with this refreshed campaign as the hut builds are in progress. Thank you from the Duckling team
