On Dec 14th 2022 Glory of God Christian Center was illegally removed by Bishop Whitehead with the support of NYPD from our sanctuary, which had been in our possestion for the last 9 years. With no notice, no court order or understanding Bishop Whitehead locked us out and ransacked God's Church! Right before our eyes Whitehead threw out church belongings in dumpster trucks and stated he owned the church building, using falsified documents provided to the NYPD.

On January 24th New York Landlord & Tenant Court granted possestion of the church back to its rightful owner Glory of God Christian Center giving us access by 5pm that day. Whitehead went to Bankruptcy Court with falsified documents once judgment was announced by the court. This automatically placed a hold on the Landlord & Tenant judgment, which still gave Whitehead full access to our church building. Whitehead took advantage of the legal system by repeating this process and providing falsified documents to different court branches to not allow the Landlord & Tenant judgment to move forward.

For the last 4 months we've had service in an event space, incurred legal bills of over $70,000 for representation in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, Bankruptcy Court and Landlord & Tenant Court.

However as a congregation we stood firm on God's word “ I am big enough to defend my church” On April 17th, thousands of believers fasted with us as a church and Victory belongs to Jesus! God defended his Church, all holds were dismissed and access was granted to the rightful owners Glory of God Christian Center.

In return Whithead has dismantled the church, tearing down our Pastor and Pastor Mrs offices, our conference room, Sunday school and secretary office only leaving our treasury office intact but 3 safes are missing that held $100,000 and important documents . The Sanctuary has been altered to fit his taste, tearing down everything that represented Glory of God Christian center.
