I’m one of the many coworkers — among the hundreds (if not thousands!) of us who’ve been lucky enough to know Gloria through her years of running the coffee bar at Kaiser. We’re starting this GoFundMe because Gloria means so much to so many of us, and right now, she could really use our support.

She’s not just the one who makes our coffee — she’s the one who makes our mornings better, our afternoons brighter, and our hearts a little lighter. She remembers our names, our orders, and our stories — and honestly, she’s become everyone’s unofficial therapist, always offering a listening ear and a kind word when we need it most.

If you’ve ever stopped by the coffee bar at Kaiser, chances are you’ve been greeted by Gloria — with a warm smile, a kind word, and often your drink already waiting for you. She somehow remembers our names, our stories, and our coffee orders better than we do. Whether it’s early in the morning or well into the afternoon, she’s there — making our days brighter one cup at a time.

Gloria has been the heart of our coffee bar for years, showing up day after day with a work ethic and spirit that’s nothing short of inspiring. Unfortunately, her car was recently stolen — from work — and heartbreakingly, this is the second time this has happened to her. The vehicle hasn’t been recovered, and without it, she’s now facing major challenges just getting to work, getting her kids to school, and keeping daily life on track.

Now it’s our turn to be there for her. We’re raising funds to help Gloria get a reliable car, so she can keep doing what she does best — caring for her family and continuing to be that steady, familiar face we look forward to seeing each day.
