Hi, my name is Katherine and I am the younger sister of Gloria.

It is with the utmost hurt feeling in my heart that I share my sister’s death on Sunday, April 28th.

My sister has been battling health issues, but nothing to warrant her passing away which makes this more heartbreaking as it was unexpected.

As of yet, we don’t have a cause of death though we are in the process of planning the goodbye that she deserves. What will be raised will be used for the service and anything left over will be given to my niece, Nayalee who is 7, and my brother-in-law, Carlos.

At the request of many of her friends and former classmates, and with the permission of my brother-in-law, this foundation was created.

While we navigate on Earth living life without my sister, everyone in our families have joined together to stay strong for my niece, who was my sister’s only child and safe to say, her pride and joy.

2 weeks before Mother’s Day and her communion, my niece now has the harsh reality of being without her mother, though memories, pictures, and videos Gloria left behind will be shown and given, we definitely would have preferred her presence instead.
