Globe Gone Green 2026: Driving Youth Empowerment & Community Resilience

We are Globe Gone Green, a youth-led community development accelerator based in Gilgil, Kenya. Our mission is simple but powerful: to enable enterprise solutions to environmental and societal challenges.

From planting trees with schoolchildren, to training young people in green entrepreneurship, to supporting vulnerable families with clean water access – our work is about empowering communities to thrive while protecting the planet.

In 2026, we want to go further. But to do so, we need your help.

Fundraising:-

To deliver our programs and reach more people across Gilgil (Kenya) and beyond, we are raising £250,000 to cover:

2No. Outreach Vehicles – Reliable transport is critical for our youth volunteers and staff to deliver programs in remote communities. With vehicles, we can move training materials, seedlings, and support directly to the people who need it.

Water Bowser (10,000L) – Many communities we serve face water stress. A dedicated water-carrying lorry will allow us to provide resilience support in times of drought, while also assisting local projects in farming and sanitation.

2026 Calendar of Activities – We will run tree-planting events, workshops, clean-up campaigns, and training sessions throughout the year, giving young people practical skills to turn ideas into enterprises.

Community Enterprise Outreach – We will seed and mentor youth-led cooperatives and enterprises, offering small grants and hands-on support to turn their green business ideas into reality.

Our Goal: £250,000

This figure covers a full year of impact (2026). Every donation will go directly into action – creating jobs, protecting the environment, and helping communities become more resilient.
