Hello! My name is Renz, and I recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a BSc (Hons) in Global Health , Public Health Studies and Psychology.  2 years prior, I traveled to the Philippines to serve in communities experiencing poverty and limited access to healthcare. That experience deeply shaped my commitment to working in global health and serving underserved populations in the country where my family is from. I have since returned to the Philippines last year independently to continue contributing to public health and health equity projects. Without the backing of a large organization, I now support myself while engaging in community outreach, health equity work, and field research in low-resource settings. While serving here, I am also completing my Master of Public Health (MPH) at Michigan State University. This program is essential for developing the skills I need to advance in public health, prepare for future medical training, and continue serving vulnerable communities.

 However, I face a significant financial gap:

 • My student loans do not cover the full cost of my MPH tuition.

 • I am responsible for all remaining tuition and program fees.

 • I must also cover all of my living expenses while working independently in the Philippines.

 This has been financially challenging, especially while dedicating myself to public health work that I believe is deeply needed.
