Global Health in Colombia

Colombia! I’ve learned a lot on my global health trips and one is that we are placed on this earth to help others. We are planning to help with the crisis in Colombia. The week I talked to these physicians and nurses they had roughly 4,000 deaths. Some of these small hospitals need the basic necessities of N95 masks, gowns, amongst other supplies. We are currently trying to purchase and donate a small portable X-ray machine. (Imagine not having an X-ray machine to check for pneumonia etc)

This may be an incredible opportunity to give back and gain some global health experience. Because the urgency is now this will develop very quickly. We will be fundraising for supplies, and donations and assembling a team to help in the Hospital San Antonio Arbelaez ,Colombia.
