Global Finals Destination Imagination
Donation protected
Do you recognize these kids? Maggie, Luke, Evelyn, Savannah, Qiming and Sarah (aka The Mistakes) qualified at the VA State Destination Imagination (DI for short) tournament this past Saturday to move onto Global Finals in Kansas City, MO this May. Congratulations on all your hard work kids!!!
Check out what this opportunity is all about here: https://www.globalfinals.org/
We could really use your help as the team works hard to raise funds to cover the $5,500 registration fee. The kids are planning several community fundraising events in addition to our GoFundMe campaign to help meet our goal quickly.
So, what is Destination Imagination you ask? — It's an educational program that helps us learn valuable skills like creative and critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork through different STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) Challenges.
From the team:
We are a team of 3rd-8th graders from Sutherland Middle School and this year, our team competed in the Scientific Challenge. We are excited to be one of the top-scoring Destination Imagination teams in our state and to have the opportunity to present our Challenge solution at Global Finals—an international academic competition where we will compete against teams in our Challenge from around the globe.
Please watch our creative presentation depicting a rare medical condition including a symptomatic, diagnosis and human character experiencing Stendhal Syndrome.
We would greatly appreciate any support you can give to help us experience this amazing opportunity! ❤️
* Destination Imagination is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; donations are tax deductible. EIN is 22-2415554. Please notify your tax advisor if you have questions about your donation.

Graciously Yours,
The Mistakes!
