Global Climbing Community Fund - Maui Fire Victims

Tax deductible
CALL TO ACTION:

Are you looking for a way to support the victims of the Maui fires? Climbers, outdoor athletes, and friends of these communities have always been among the best stewards of the land and our communities. This is a way for everyone to come together and express our love and support for this devastated island community that has, over the years, given the world so much ALOHA. Please consider giving what you can to support those in severe hardship amidst the deadliest natural disaster in Hawaii’s recorded history. Follow the links to see exactly how and where your donations will be administered.

USE OF PROCEEDS:

All donations (100%) are tax-deductible and securely administered by the Hawai’i Community Foundation (HCF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization overseeing the Maui Strong Fund. The Maui Strong Fund is being used to provide shelter, food, financial assistance, and other critical services to those most severely affected by the wildfires through a coordinated, maximum-impact effort with local non-profit partners on the ground in Maui. These partners are best positioned for rapid response and understanding of community needs. HCF has confirmed that 100% of funds received for the Maui Strong Fund will be distributed to critical community groups and leaders.

The Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund has already initiated rapid response funding to 12 on-the-ground partners providing critical supplies and services, such as food, diapers, shelter, clothing, showers, first aid, animal care, grief support, and boat transportation to provide relief to Lahaina residents. Partners receiving funding from HCF's Maui Strong include:
  • Aloha Diaper Bank
  • American Red Cross
  • Ka Hale A Ke ʻOla Homeless Resource Center
  • Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaiʻi
  • Nā Keiki O Emalia
  • King’s Cathedral and Chapels
  • Maui Food Bank
  • Maui Hui Mālama
  • Maui Humane Society
  • Regenerative Education Center
  • The Salvation Army
  • And many more to be announced
