I have been friends with Glenn Padeway for 44 years. We are Gladitors from the 1980 graduating class of Widefield High School in Security, Colorado. Some of you may know Glenn has had a long battle with kidney disease and unfortunately a few years ago his disease progessed to the point that he is now on dialysis. He has been on the kidney transplant list since May 1, 2019. Glenn's brother Oscar Padeway introduced him to the organization DOVE last fall. This organization helps Veterans find a living kidney donor. On March 20, 2023 Glenn received a call from DOVE that a donor had stepped forward to donate a kidney. Glenn's life changing transplant surgery was May 16th. Glen had a successful surgery and is now home recovering.

Glen has the biggest heart of anyone you will ever meet. He and his wife Toni are foster parents to their four granddaughters and Glenn is a beloved volleyball Coach and USAF Veteran.

We all know these experiences bring unexpected expenses and undue financial worry. They expressed to me a need for funds as Glenn will be on leave during his recovery and Toni will be his fulltime caregiver.
