Glenna Kindley Medical and Funeral Expenses

Glenna Kindley has been a prominent figure in the Mount Shasta over several years. If you have been to a Mount Shasta High School football game in the last 9 years, chances are you have heard her. She's the incredibly loud Mom in the stands screaming and cheering as she rooted for her 4 boys who have been on the field and for her husband that coached from the sidelines. Glenna was an incredibly proud mother and protector of not just her own sons, but also mom to the several boys that have been a part of the program. Glenna also volunteered as a youth group leader for her local church for several years, and was key in several fund raising programs for Sisson Middle School and for the Mount Shasta High School. Glenna was a fierce friend to many and impacted many lives of those around her.

Glenna Kindley was diagnosed with mesothelioma during the summer of 2020. Over the course of the next year, Glenna traveled to Baylor University in Texas on several occasions to receive treatments, procedures, and surgeries. In October of 2021, Glenna’s condition suddenly worsened and Glenna ultimately succumbed to her illness and passed away on 10/12/21. She is survived by her husband David and their 4 sons Kirby, Bodie, Lane, and Cole.

Over the course of Glenna’s illness, David and Glenna incurred massive financial burdens to pay for the travel to and from Baylor University, hotels, medical treatment, care for their home and children while they were away, and several other miscellaneous needs. Now those financial burdens are coupled with the costs of funeral arrangements and burial costs. Glenna spent a large portion of her life helping the community and those around her and now we are asking the community to help give back.
