Glenn has always been a happy, hardworking, fun and caring man. He is an amazing and loving father, grandfather and a devoted husband.
Like many of you, this year has been pretty rough on Glenn and Amy. Early this year, Amy was diagnosed with cancer. We are blessed to say that it was diagnosed early. She has undergone radiation treatments and we are waiting to learn how well she responded.
Glenn has been battling Congestive Heart Failure and Type 2 Diabetes. The last few years have involved a fight for Glenn's eyesight with diabetic Retinopathy, his heart and kidneys, oral health and tooth loss.
Over the past 10 weeks, the war on Glenn's health has waged on. Glenn has been in and out of the hospital and rehab facilities battling complications from his heart failure and the effects of a fall and an infection, all of which have further set back his recovery.
Glenn continues to fight. It's been very trying and, due to the pandemic, he has been unable to be near his family. Through all of this, he's grimaced, laughed, cried and tried his best to smile. But Glenn's smile is fading due to severe tooth loss.
Costs for dental care are extremely high. We want to give our father something to feel good about again. We are asking for your help as friends and family. We want to give Glenn his smile back. In addition, we hope to help cover some costs for medical bills.
Our goal is to help him get appropriate dentures or dental appliances, possibly some implants. Glenn's quality of life will greatly improve with the confidence to smile, and most importantly to eat well and enjoy food.
Please consider a donation. Any amount will help. If you cannot contribute, please say a prayer for continued recovery.
Thank you, Everyone,
Gretchen and Jessica (Glenn's daughters)
