Hi, my name is Rebecca and I desperately want to help my dear friends Glenn and Amanda.

In December last year they received the awful news that Glenn has cancer ( High grade multi focal metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma) after Glenn discovered a lump on his right thigh. He initially thought it was muscular, but the lump continued to grow. After having a PET scan they discovered more tumours, one in his pelvis, one on his buttock and a spot on his left lung.

After finding out this devastating news they still remained hopeful, Glenn was to do 1-5 days a week of chemo for the whole year plus at 20 weeks radiation and then surgery once the tumours had shrunk. 3 weeks into the chemo Glenn discovered another lump, this time on his left arm, so he was sent for an MRI. Last week he was told it was in fact another tumour, and now his chemo would be changed up to hopefully buy him more time as surgery is now no longer an option, as the cancer is so aggressive.

They have given him the time frame of 12-24 months, if the chemo can keep him stable, then he may get to 24 months.

Before all this happened Glenn was the main income earner for their family, they have 5 children and 3 still live at home. Amanda at the moment is trying to juggle 3 jobs and a full time uni degree on top of trying to get Glenn to appointments.

They don’t ever complain, but I can see how stressed they both are and this is the reason I need your help. If you can’t donate then please share this around, you would be helping 2 of the nicest people you’d ever meet.
