On Sunday, September 4, 2022 Glenn was visiting friends in upstate NY and went out to do something he loved--ride his electric skateboard. Unfortunately, something went wrong and Glenn was thrown from the skateboard, resulting in a traumatic brain injury. Glenn was rushed to Albany Medical Center via medevac and has been in the Neuro ICU ever since, heavily sedated and on a ventilator. The doctors are hopeful that Glenn can have a full recovery, but there is clearly a long road ahead for Glenn and his family.

We don't need to tell you what an amazing person Glenn is. Everyone who knows Glenn adores him and values time spent with him. He's a great husband, father, teacher, coach, son, brother, athlete, teammate and friend. We are hopeful for the time when we can all join Glenn again on the pickleball court, dance floor or basketball court, and know it can happen. It will require hard work, support and patience and we are with them on this journey.

Glenn and his incredible wife, Beth, have two terrific kids in college, and they are facing a scary financial hardship in addition to the undetermined medical hurdles Glenn will have to overcome. Glenn's recovery process will be costly, but Beth and Glenn are blessed with a large network of family and friends who have all been asking how they can help. This is the most impactful way to help. Glenn and Beth will need financial support in the next few months for transportation, lodging and additional living expenses. Beyond that, it's hard to predict, but we expect there will be rehabilitation and other unforeseen needs.
