Glendale Montessori School Fundraiser
Donation protected
As you can imagine, between awarding scholarships for those struggling to afford the program, protecting their teachers, and grappling with unprecedented low enrollment, this has been an extraordinarily challenging year financially for Glendale Montessori School. Hitting this goal will allow GMS to get back on their feet and hold out for the near future.
THE BACK STORY: A few weeks ago several parents of Montessori Alumni heard that our beloved school needs to raise funds to cover $50,000 in scholarships they provided to families struggling because of the pandemic this past spring and fall. That, plus a drop in enrollment, has left them short of funds. As we all know, and one of the things we all loved about the school, they are not a "fundraising school" in the sense that many of us are now accustomed. Which leaves it to us: the families who know and love that tiny but mighty school, the amazing teachers, and the education they provided for our kids.
What can you do immediately? Donate as much as you can, right now. We only need 50 people to give $1000 or 100 to give $250 each! I know this is a difficult time for many and if your inbox is like mine, it is full of NPOs needing your help. But, this one is personal. If you can, please forward this to any Glendale Montessori family you know.
We are also setting up a long-term fundraising campaign in the hopes of raising $150,000 - $200,000 to ensure that our beloved school has a rainy day fund for the future.
If it's been awhile since you kept up with Glendale Montessori School, please feel free to ask us any questions you might have. Their website is a great source of information.
