On friday Nov 1, 2019 morning it started out like any other ordinary day. My wife and I had planned a trip to FT Worth for a mini honeymoon and our son, Hunter, was going to spend the weekend playing and hanging out with Grandma and our roommate Shannon. We had no idea that it would end the way that it did.

We left for FT Worth in the early morning, and Grandma and Hunter went to her house. Late in the night while on the way back to our home in Hutto tragedy struck in the form of an accident that would leave both grandma dead, and Hunter fighting for his life at Dell Children’s hospital while we raced back from FT Worth. Shortly after we got to the hospital, Hunter passed away in the early hours of the morning on November 2.

If you have never lost a child, you can only imagine what that can feel like, but to have both the grandmother and our light be extinguished at the same time is a tragedy that I would not wish on anyone. We now have to bury my mother and my son at the same time, something that we could not ever plan for. We are asking our friends and family for some help, thoughts, and prayers.

Hunter was the light of our life, and an inquisitive child. His light should not have been extinguished in such a fashion and my family is devastated beyond words
