Glen Pafford needs you.

My name is Glen Pafford and I never thought I would be doing this, but recently I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer so I will be doing lots of things I hadn't planned on. They may have also found sclerosis in my right hip but I think that can be dealt with later. I was raised by parents who instilled in me to be honest and to treat others as I wanted to be treated myself. I have tried to live my life that way. Along the way the friends I have made seem to echo these values and I vaIue them. I have worked as a butcher, and in other areas in grocery stores, I also worked in the Student Center at Austin Peay State University for a number of years. I worked hard but never made a lot of money and saved even less. While in college I was a member of the Eta Tau Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. I have donated four gallons of blood to the Red Cross. I have acted in plays in college, comunity theaters and a few professional productions. I once cut steaks for Paul Newman and as I finished and I handed him the steaks we shook hands and I said, "I'm an actor myself so I'm glad we had a chance to do this scene together." His blue eyes lit up and he wished me luck, as I did him. As much as I have enjoyed the theatre I have enjoyed nature and walking natural trails has meant a lot to me. At this time I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I am sure that with your help, I will not go through it alone. Thank-you. Glen
