Yesterday, a good man was called home unexpectedly and too soon. His chair now sits empty in the office, the chat applications contain a record of his good work and dedication to his team. The past emails record his thoughtfulness and helpfulness toward the common goal of acting as one, seeking first to understand, and giving his best to the person on the other end of the communication. If you needed some solid advice on a tech issue, he was there to help you work through it. I still brag about his superhero "steel-trap" of a brain; he remembered everything…every support detail and every customer he interacted with. You could talk to Glen about any subject and get solid feedback; he was a good friend and colleague, and he will be deeply missed.
He always talked fondly and proudly about his family; there was no doubt that they were his reason for living. We were visitors when he talked about Abby and Lucy, but we felt close to them through his narratives of everyday family life. Selena always brought him a chuckle when she called with a question or a concern. He always answered her call no matter what he was doing.
Glen passed on 08/08/2023. You will be missed, my friend.
If you are reading this, please consider helping Glen's family during this time with a donation. I would truly appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness during this time of grief and loss. I will update you with service information once it becomes available.
