Glen Ellyn KinderCare Families!
The teachers and staff at the Glen Ellyn KinderCare support and care for our families each week. They have been committed to teaching our kids and providing all of us with a safe space for them during the week.
During this unprecedented time, the hourly teachers and staff at our KinderCare will not be paid and have the option to file for unemployment. We have the opportunity to support them with something a little extra that can go directly to each teacher/staff member.

To keep everything transparent, we will follow the below process:
- Donations collected from friends and family through 3/29.
- GE KinderCare Director will collect Venmo/Zelle accounts from each hourly teacher/staff member that would like to receive funds. Venmo/Zelle accounts will be due by 3/29.
- Funds will be divided equally among each hourly teacher/staff member on 3/30. (GoFundMe collects a 2.9% processing fee +$0.30 per transaction from the total raised)
- The total per teacher/staff member will be posted with this fundraiser on 3/30, including the total of the processing fees.
This fundraiser was started by families that attend Glen Ellyn KinderCare.

The total raised, minus fees is $1,622.81.
With 18 teachers/staff submitting accounts, each person will receive $91. The money will be sent to the accounts provided by next week, 4/10. The GoFundMe withdraw process is slow!
